About Us
The Polar Geophysical Simulation Lab (PGSL) at Georgia Tech combines geophysics, machine learning, and numerical modeling to study polar ice sheets and glaciers.
We focus on:
- Deploying geophysical surveys to study ice sheet internal structures and basal conditions in Greenland and Antarctica.
- Using machine learning to uncover relationships in geophysical data
- Improving ice sheet models by incorporating insights from machine learning and geophysical data
Our goal is to advance understanding of polar ice sheets and their response to climate change.
